    Holaspirit travelled to Sao Paulo to meet with its clients and people interested in self-management practices. During the trip, the team interviewed Holaspirit's Brazilian partner, Target Teal. Davi Gabriel da Silva is an Agile Coach, Partner at Target Teal: « Many organizations are looking for more autonomy, more responsive design, more flexibility to solve their problems. Everything starts based on some kind of discomfort due to the tensions the organization is experiencing. We started to bring elements of this transition and little by little we were creating a slightly different approach to holacracy. We called our own method O2, changed some concepts and tried to be as closed as possible of the Brazilian culture and the market expectations. As part of the creation of O2's development we really needed the support of a platform that offered the resources we needed and until now we had not found any solution in the market that offered exactly what was necessary for us to be able to support the organizations that practice O2. And this partnership with Holaspirit was super valuable for us. First we could get a platform that supported O2 properly. And secondly, we could mutually develop business and the market here in Brazil having the support of an Outside partner connecting there also with the European market. During the trip, the team interviewed the insurance company Youse, one of Holaspirit’s clients. Their organization is largely horizontal, and purpose driven. Ethical integrity is essential for them. Holacracy was instrumental to build an environment of trust. They are very used to help each others and to ask questions so that they always take safe decisions. Holaspirit allowed them to give all the transparency necessary to give clarity to what is happening in the organization. « I think that the tool is very well designed to implement the methodology and it helped me a lot.     We notice that we work in fixed processes, that we have all kinds of departments, yes, that there is just a lot of decision-making going on and needed, and we really felt the need to structure this a little more and to have more insight into how we do things as an organization and as a department, so yes, just work smarter with each other. Almost all the employees in our department work with holaspirit. That makes remote work much easier. The Project pages, in particular, are very well filled, that we work on a lot of projects, but we also use the Metrics a lot to gain insight into how we do it together as a team. We discuss many more topics in much less time, plus it just makes it very clear where we stand as a department. We soon saw that the method simply enabled us to meet much more quickly and to have a much better understanding of what we were doing, so that transparency was very pleasant. And you know who is responsible for what. People have just become much more independent. So they know better what their responsibilities are and act accordingly. So it has given them a lot of confidence and that is the most valuable thing you can get out of this. Holaspirit has brought us a lot. People work more efficiently, there is more transparency about KPIs. What you also see is that it does something with the employees themselves, they enjoy it a lot, things are clearer, more concrete, yes and you work much more efficiently.     Holaspirit travelled to Sao Paulo to meet with its clients and people interested in self-management practices. During the trip, the team interviewed Prove, one of holaspirit’s clients. The purpose of Prove is to build a community of young people more empowered by their own choices, that perceives their decisions thanks to various experiences inside classroom and outside in expeditions camps. Teachers and parents are involved in these processes of empowerment of young people. João Hoeppner – Camp Coordinator and Facilitator within Prove as a his own point of view regarding responsibilities: « I often make this joke that freedom and responsibility are synonyms. They are the two different faces of the same coin » They believe that self-management is not rigid, but rather malleable and well-defined to help an organization that is growing, that is evolving, that is transforming itself. Prove needed a platform and they realized that they spent a lot of time wanting to build lots of things in other software and spreadsheets. They were spending more time building the software than building their real purpose. That's why they chose holaspirit. They believe that the most valuable aspects of holaspirit are the ways in which it helps to really follow a meeting. It becomes easier to transform the structure in real time and to understand transformations are currently done. So when they started to define what were the responsibilities of each person, things started to change and they began to be closer to what they idealized. They now understand who does what within Prove. « For me the transition to self-management was very important. I think it was one of the models with which Prove best fit in, it has everything to do with our beliefs.     Trust is very important, and then creating transparency in order to increase that are two major success factors for self-management. You can see that employee satisfaction has increased, but you can also see that the organization is more fluid. On the one hand, we are talking about agility from the outside of the organization, but internally I notice that we have become much more fluid as an organization. And it's much easier to anticipate, to react to things that happen.
